Now China is a funny Place! the reason is that Honda has two collaboration there. One is with Dongfeng that has come up with a more stylish version of Honda City named as Greiz and the other is with Guangzhou which makes Honda City that looks closer to what we we get in India. In simple words these two cars will be rivaling against each other in China.
Speaking of the car, it gets a sportier front and rear end that could be largely related to the latest generation of Honda Civic with a similar setup of headlamps and the C-shaped taillamps. While, the sides are largely the same except for wheels and the base character line. The insides largely remains the same with the similar dashboard and the other equipment like the steering wheel, instrument cluster and the touchscreen central console.
Under the hood, Honda Greiz is powered by the same 131 bhp 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol motor shared from the Chinese Honda City, mated to a CVT. The car is slightly costlier than the standard City, certainly aimed at people looking for a sportier car.
In Indian context, there is a slight possibility that the facelifted version of City could get inspiration from Greiz.
