Honda Jazz, gets a touch up from Honda Motors. Honda Motors, the Japanese based automobile manufacturer is planning to come with a new version of Honda Jazz, also known as Honda Fit in other markets. Honda Motors, the sixth biggest automobile producer in the world enjoys a great demand in the Indian auto market. The Japanese car manufacturer is giving a facelift to its already exciting model Honda Jazz. But the real fact is, the change will not be huge, expect few minor ones. The chassis and technological part will remain the same. The external appearance of Honda Jazz especially the front and rear will be sharpened. The bonnet will come with two lines rather than one which it used to be. As per the pictures revealed there are few changes which are visible on the headlamps and on the taillamps with chrome dollop all around the new revamped car.

The new Honda Jazz, is more savvy, sleek and fashionable and in looks it can more readily compete in the market. It won't be wrong to say the cosmetic changes have their styling cues taken from Honda Jazz hybrid. It is being speculated that the entry of the Honda Jazz in the Indian auto market will be in 2011 last quarter. Currently in India, Honda Jazz is in the hatchback segment in the Indian Auto industry. Honda Jazz is the first hatchback car from Honda's stable for the Indian auto market. The car comes with great technology and advanced features, the hatchback car is made on the Honda City lines which has helped in reducing the production cost. The Honda Jazz is the best bet from Honda makers in the small car segment. The rivals of Honda in this segment are Skoda Fabia, Hyundai i20 and Chevrolet SRV.

The stylish car is hatchback and is fully loaded with 1.2 litre, 1198 cc engine with 4-cylinder offering a power of 90 Ps @ 6200 rpm and 116 Nm torque @ 4900 rpm. The car can accelerate at a speed upto 100 kmph at 11.2 seconds and achieve top speed of 165 kmph. In India, 1.2 litre engine is available and in UK Honda has launched 1.3 litre and 1.5 litre engine.
