Honda India did a bold move by launching on 18th August 2011, the very next day when Maruti India launched brand new Maruti Swift. However, Honda India had some other plans, as it was planning a major mugging on the new Maruti Swift. This was done by slashing the price of Honda Jazz by a whopping Rs. 1.75 Lakh. The all new Honda Jazz price was Rs. 5.5 Lakh only, which in turn positioned Honda Jazz in the commercial hatchback segment of the Indian car market.

Honda India needs to buckle up their shoes and put all its efforts in increasing this 3 digit figure to at least a 4 digit one. It is known that Honda Jazz certainly has all the features and ability to top in the B+ petrol hatchbacks segment of the Indian car market.
