Honda LI Nian S1 launched for the Chinese market

]The “Li Nian S1”, the fourth generation of the savvy sedan Honda City  was recently showcased in the 2010 China International Automobile Exhibition. The new sedan Li Nian is an all new developed by Guangqi Honda, the Chinese venture which is possessed by the Honda Motors and the Guangzhou Automobile Group.

The Li Nian S1 is based on the platform of the Honda City the premium sedan, which was marketed in between 2002 to 2008 year in the South East Asian auto markets. As per Honda, the new Li Nian S1 aims at the younger generation in China and also has designed a more powerful, technologically enhanced and to out perform.

The new car will be coming in the auto market in the second quarter of 2011, from the present Guangqi Honda sales network with the powertrian it will offer are 1.3 litre and 1.5 litre mill. The engine will come along with either of the two i,e., a five speed manual or a CVT automatic transmission. And also its is being heard that, the 1.3 litre engine may use the i-DSI.

Back home in India, the sketches of the new Honda Civic was launched recently, looks stunning as usual will be landing in January, 2011 in the Indian auto market. It is expected to be hitting the Japanese auto market first before entering the domestic auto segment. Honda Civic is already a successful sedan in India and with the new car model, it has already spied the domestic auto market. The company sails in India with its five car models including Honda Civic, Honda City, Honda Jazz, Honda CR-V and Honda New Accord.
