The Honda Elevate is being offered only with the City’s 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol engine that churns out 121PS and 145Nm. This unit is mated with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT gearbox. Except for the base-spec SV, all other trims get both transmission options. Like confirmed earlier, Honda will not be offering the Elevate with a strong-hybrid powertrain.
Expected Price and Launch
Honda will launch the Elevate this year in September and we expect it to be priced from Rs 11 lakh (ex-showroom) onwards. Once launched, it will be a rival to the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, MG Astor and the upcoming Citroen C3 Aircross.
