Honda Year-End Discounts Stretch Up To Rs 5 Lakh!

With 2019 coming to an end, Honda is offering mouth-watering discounts on all models except the Accord Hybrid

Japanese carmaker Honda is offering huge discounts on several models in its India lineup. The discounts are applicable on small cars like Jazz and big cars like the CR-V. What’s more, buyers will stand a chance to save anywhere between Rs 42,000 and Rs 5 lakh, depending on the model they choose. 

Let’s take a look at all the models being offered at a discounted price:

Jazz

Honda’s premium hatchback Jazz is being offered with a flat Rs 25,000 cash discount and an exchange bonus of Rs 25,000 on top, taking the total value of discounts to Rs 50,000. The offers are applicable on both petrol and diesel variants of the Jazz.

Amaze

The Amaze is being offered with a free extended warranty for the fourth and fifth year, worth Rs 12,000. Then there is an exchange bonus worth Rs 30,000. The total value of the discounts in this case is Rs 42,000. If you don’t wish to exchange an old car, the exchange bonus is swapped out for the Honda Care Maintenance Program (3 years), worth Rs 16,000. The total value of the discounts is Rs 28,000 in this case. These offers are applicable on all petrol and diesel variants of the Amaze, expect the Ace edition.

In case of the Ace edition, the offers remain the same. You can choose to exchange your old car or not. In case of the former, you get a flat Rs 30,000 exchange bonus and in case of the latter, you get the Honda Care Maintenance program for three years, worth Rs 16,000. Honda is not offering the extended warranty for free with the Ace edition of the Amaze.

WR-V

The WR-V is being offered with a cash discount of flat Rs 25,000. In addition, you get a bonus of Rs 20,000 on exchanging your old car. The offers are applicable on all petrol and diesel variants of the WR-V and the total value of the discounts in Rs 45,000.

City

For the Honda City, the offers change depending on whether you’re buying BS4 or BS6. In case of a BS4 City, Honda is offering a cash discount of Rs 32,000 and a bonus of Rs 30,000 on exchanging your car. The total value of these offers -- applicable on both BS4 and BS6 -- stands at Rs 62,000. 

In case you are buying a BS6 City, Honda has lowered the cash discount to Rs 25,000 and the exchange bonus is also lesser at Rs 20,000. The total value of the discounts in this case is Rs 45,000. This is only for petrol models as the diesel City doesn’t conform to BS6 norms yet.

BR-V

Honda’s BR-V is also being offered at discounted rates. The following offers are applicable on all petrol and diesel variants, except for the S MT petrol variant.

First of all, if you choose to exchange your old car, there is a cash discount of Rs 33,500, an exchange bonus of Rs 50,000, and free accessories worth Rs 26,500. The total value of these discounts stands at Rs 1.10 lakh.

If you choose not to exchange your old car, Honda is offering a cash discount of Rs 33,500 and free accessories worth Rs 36,500. The total value of these benefits is Rs 70,000.

If the S MT petrol variant of the BR-V is what you wish to buy, Honda is only offering an exchange bonus worth Rs 50,000.

Civic

For those looking to buy the diesel variants of the Civic, there is a cash discount of flat Rs 2.50 lakh. Coming to petrol, if you are looking to buy the V CVT variant of the Civic, there is a Rs 1.50 lakh cash discount. However, if it is the VX CVT that floats your boat, there is a Rs 1.25 lakh cash discount, coupled with a Rs 25,000 exchange bonus. If the top-spec ZX CVT variant is what you are after, then you can get a Rs 75,000 cash discount and Rs 25,000 exchange bonus. 

Honda also has a buyback program running for the Civic. You can sell the Civic back to Honda with an assured buyback value of 52 per cent after 36 months with a high kilometre running limit of 75,000. For example, Honda will buy the ZX MT diesel variant of the Civic for Rs 11.62 lakh, if all the conditions of the buyback program are met.

If you are not looking to buy the CIvic, then there are leasing options available as well for 3,4 or 5 years. These options are for self-employed, corporate or individual customers. You also stand to save tax when leasing the Civic.

CR-V

If you are looking to buy the AWD-diesel version of the CR-V, Honda is offering a Rs 5 lakh cash discount. If the 2WD-diesel version interests you more, then you can get a cash discount of Rs 4 lakh.

Just like the Civic, there is a buyback program for the CR-V and it can be leased as well. The conditions for the buyback program are the same as the Civic. You will get back 52 per cent of your money after 36 months but there is a 75,000km high running limit. For example, Honda will pay you Rs 17.04 lakh for the AWD-diesel version of the CR-V if you choose to sell it back after three years.

It can also be leased for 3, 4 or 5 years by self-employed, corporate or individual customers.
