Hyundai Elantra 190,000 car models recalled in US

Hyundai Motors, the biggest South Korean auto manufacturer who is known for adding versatility, and looks in its cars has been reported to recall around 1,90,000 Hyundai Elantra cars in US. As per the media files ,it states that due to damaged airbags the company has called back the sedan models.These Elantra cars were rolled out from 2006 to 2008 as they reported damaged airbags. While there was a buzz around that the Indian car model of Hyundai Elantra also has the same defect. However, this has been waved off by the South Korean auto makers. The auto company will initiate the work on the big recall from the beginning of the coming month. The mending of the defected cars will be taken care at Hyundai service centers in US.

Hyundai Elantra car has weight sensor in passenger seats in front which demobilize the airbags in right frontal when the passengers of particular weight sits in. It increases the fraction of electrical connector which are the sensors for weight which gets corrupted in few situations. As it waves off the airbag without speculating the passenger's weight.

The Japanese auto giant has made sure that the dealers in the service stations will look after the defected Hyundai Elantra cars. The cars will be mended and will be added with the protective cover on the electrical connector of weight sensor for preventing further issues.

For the Indian auto markets Hyundai has stopped the manufacturing of Hyundai Elantra and in place of that the Japanese auto giant will come with Hyundai Avante. It is a premium sedan which is expected to come with a price tag of Rs 10 to rs 12 lakh. It will heat up the competition for the likes such as Chevrolet Optra Magnum, Honda Civic and Honda City. The car aficionados in India are excited about the new car.
