Seeing the heat from Maruti Suzuki Baleno, the top end Asta (O) in Elite i20 gets projector headlamps with LED daytime running lights!
Hyundai has made dual-front airbags as standard in the 2016 model year of Elite i20 and i20 Active. Besides dual-front airbags, the Korean automaker has also made few changes in Elite i20 line-up. The vehicles are expected to hit showrooms soon. As Hyundai has already announced, one can expect slightly raised prices for both the models. Mechanically, both the vehicles have remained unaltered and continue to offer 1.4-liter diesel with 6-Speed MT and 1.2-liter petrol with 5-Speed MT.
The top of line Elite i20 Asta (O) now features projector headlamps with cornering lamp and LED daytime running lights. Maruti Suzuki Baleno, which was launched a couple of months ago, was the first vehicle in this segment to offer Bi-Xenon projectors with LED daytime running lights. Moreover, the Sportz (O) variant of Hyundai Elite i20 has been discontinued henceforth. While Sportz, Asta and Asta (O) are available along with base - Era and Magana. As mentioned above, dual airbags are standard across the range, however, ABS is only offered from Sportz variants onwards. Furthermore, touchscreen navigation which was offered later last year continues to available with the Asta (O) trim. The previous automatic electrochromic mirror which had the camera screen, is now replaced with a manual one.
