Now it seems that Hyundai India has given a roasted reply to speculators who underestimated the hatch a tad too much. The Hyundai Eon comes with a curvy exterior hatchback design inspired by Hyundai’s Fluidic design philosophy. The interiors of Hyundai Eon seem to be top notch and trumps over the bare bones interiors of the Maruti Alto. Eon also is more fuel efficient than the Maruti Alto, with an ARAI certified 21.1 kmpl fuel economy number. Fourthly, the Eon 814cc three cylinder petrol engine produces 55 Bhp of peak power and 76.5 Nm of peak torque, numbers which are significantly higher than its arch rival by almost 15%.
