Like the Indian market this new Hyundai Eon will be placed below the Xing. The only factor in which the Hyundai Eon differs for both the car market is that it will be available only in three variant as compared to the six variants for Indian market. It is speculated that Hyundai will export an entry level, a mid level and a top end variant to the Nepalese market. It seems that the launch of Hyundai Eon have salvaged the sales of Hyundai Santro Xing to a great extent in India. It is believed that the same story will be recited in the Nepalese market as Hyundai Eon will be placed below the Santro Xing in terms of price.

It is expected that the Hyundai Eon price in Nepal would be approximately 15 Lakh Nepali Rupees whereas the Hyundai Santro Xing is available at 17 Lakh Nepalees Rupees. On converting the Nepali Hyundai Eon price to Indian rupees it comes around Rs 9.42 lakh which is almost triple of the Indian price. This price lift is the direct outcome of the high excise duty levied by the government of Nepal for importing the cars to the country. Even at such high price, the company expects to garner good sales from Nepalese market.
