The entry-spec Era variant of the Nios will not be available with the diesel engine. In a regular Hyundai fashion, the top-spec Asta variant won’t be offered with an automatic option (AMT) for either petrol or diesel engine.
The 1.2-litre petrol AMT powertrain will only be available with the Magna and Sportz variants of the Grand i10 Nios. However if you want the diesel engine with the Sportz variant, you can only get it with the AMT, while the Magna variant is only available with the manual transmission.

The dual tone option on the Grand i10 Nios will only be offered on the Sportz variant with the petrol-manual powertrain and won’t be available with the diesel engine at all. Expect an all-black interior with the dual-tone Nios. There will be only two dual-tone colours to choose from:
-
Polar White with black roof
-
Aqua Teal with black roof
As before, the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be offered in 6 monotone colours, but with three new colour options:
-
Polar White
-
Fiery Red
-
Typhoon Silver
-
Titan Grey (NEW)
-
Aqua Teal (NEW)
-
Aqua Blue (NEW)
The entry-spec Era variant is not offered in any of the new exterior colour options while Aqua Blue is only available from the Sportz variant onwards. The Grand i10 Nios will miss out on Flame Orange, Marina Blue and Star Dust colour options that are offered on the second-gen model.
While we do have the variant list for the new Grand i10 Nios, the variant-wise features will most likely be revealed at the time of launch only. It is expected to be priced between Rs 5.2 lakh to Rs 7.7 lakh and will compete against the likes of the Ford Figo, Maruti Suzuki Swift and Ignis, and the Nissan Micra too.
