Hyundai Launches 2015 Elantra at Rs 14.13 lac

Hyundai India has launched the facelift version of Elantra in the price range of Rs 14.13 lac to Rs. 16.67 lakh (Ex-Showroom, Delhi). With no mechanical changes, the updates are only cosmetics. The 2015 Elantra now features projector headlamps with LED Guide Light, new 10 spoke 16 inch alloy wheels, LED effect rear combination lamps & and chrome tipped exhaust.
In terms of exterior updates, the car flaunts its ‘’wind craft’’ design which according to Hyundai is inspired from mother nature. The front profile gets bold chrome grille, redesigned front bumper, new fog lamps, projector headlamps with LED guide. The rear shows the combination of new two-tone bumper with LED effect rear combination lamps. The premium saloon also gets a new pair of shoe in the form of 10 spoke, 16-inch alloy wheels.

Inside the cabin, the 2015 Elantra’s gets sporty black interiors with leather seat upholstery, metallic scuff plates and sporty Aluminium pedals. The infotainment system with 4.3 inch color TFT LCD display and steering mounted controls add comfort in driving. The infotainment system also offers Bluetooth connectivity and rear camera display.

The safety of car is enhanced by the 6 Airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Assist Control, Vehicle Stability management, Electronic Stability Control, Rear view Camera with Rear Parking. Under the hood, the car remains with petrol model getting 1.8-litre Dual VTVT engine good enough to churn power output of 147.5bhp @ 6500rpm and peak torque of 177Nm @ 4700 rpm while diesel model getting the same tried and tested 1.6-litre VGT CRDi engine which gives an output of 126.3bhp @ 4000 rpm and torque of 270Nm @ 1900rpm.
