Indian automobile sector registered a 57% growth in exports

At the time when all major car exporter and maufacturers are struggling to sell their vehicles the Indian car manufacturers are registering a growth in overseas markets. According to SIAM reports the passenger car exports from India registered a growth of 57.04% in financial year 2008-2009. According to SIAM reports the passenger car exports from the country this year was 3,31,539 units in this financial year compare to 2,11,112 units in the previous financial year.

The largest car exporter of the country Hyundai, registered a growth rate of 63% in car exports that accounts for 2,35,345 units in this financial year compare to 1,44,440 units in last financial year. At the other hand the second largest car exporter of the country the Maruti Suzuki registered a growth of 32.58% in this fianancial year.
