Toyota will be launching its much anticipated car, the Innova Crysta on 02 May 2016. The carmaker previously made an announcement that it will be launching the car by the end of May 2016.
Toyota has introduced a lot of modifications in the Innova Crysta. The to-be-launched version is larger, more stylish, and comes equipped with luxurious features when compared to its predecessor. The Crysta has grown by 150mm in length, 70mm in width and 35mm in height. A modified front and rear, with updated features makes it a worthy successor to the Innova.
The list of features offered includes automatic climate control with rear auto cooler, a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment with navigation, smart entry with push button start/stop and easy close boot gate. Toyota has also improved the suspension quality with pitch and bounce control, and has introduced chrome window lining in the exteriors. The car is quite safe as it has dual airbags with Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) and Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD). It recently received a 4-star rating in the New Car Assessment Program (NCAP) for Southeast Asian Countries (ASEAN) crash test.
The Crysta is likely to be powered by a 2.4-litre diesel engine, churning out around 150bhp of power. A bigger heart of 2.8 litres is also expected at a later stage, and it will produce around 180bhp. Transmission duties are expected to be carried out by a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic gearbox. You can know more about the MPV in detail here.
The car was showcased at the Auto Expo 2016. Check out our detailed image gallery and tell us what you think about the car in the comments section below!
