The Chinese market is ruled by the chauffeur driven luxury automobiles, and given the present love for the British born auto manufactures in the Far east, Jaguar will seize in the opportunity rather than letting it slip from its hand. No wonder Jaguar chose the Beijing Motor Show to reveal the modernized version of XJ sedan. Jaguar XJ ultimate version has everything a luxury car passenger can think of, individually adjustable rear seats with everything is electrically controlled. The car holds motorized foldable tables with chilled champagne buckets and flute, illuminated leather trimmed central console and iPads with keyboards laying on the back of the front seats and a 20 speaker Meridian sound system.
The XJ Ultimate is powered by Jaguar flagship 5.0L V8 supercharged petrol engine; the sturdy and high on efficiency level 3.0L V6 turbocharged diesel engine and an all new 3.0L V6 supercharged petrol unit, all driving rear wheels through an eight speed transmission. Jaguar XJ is an out of the box design philosophy in its class, extremely different from what Jaguar rivals bring to the table, the all aluminum XJ has grabbed the essential design elements of elegance, muscularity, sleekness and strength. The grille is turned sturdy matching the lower front air intakes redesigned and chrome finished, with the LED daytime-lights redefining the assertively shaped headlamps.
The never seen 20-inch Maroa forged alloy wheels have been introduced with this model and feature a dual- tone color scheme. A dark grey technical coat is given to the inner surfaces of the spokes, which gently contrast, with the bright, polished surfacing of the outer edges, creating a depth and an appearance of both glamour and purpose.Jaguar sedan XJ will be seen on Indian roads in late 2012, the pricing and powertrains are yet to be announced.
