With the new Signature Edition, Jeep adds a few cosmetic enhancements and a couple of extra features, while retaining the same mechanicals. Here's a quick look at what this special edition of the Grand Cherokee offers:
What’s New?
The Grand Cherokee Signature Edition brings no changes to the overall design. However, there are also some useful additions such as motorised side steps, making it easier to get in and out of this tall SUV.

It also includes a couple of extra features like rear entertainment screens mounted on the back of front seat headrests. It also gets a dashcam for added safety.
Design
The Grand Cherokee Signature Edition retains the same overall design as the standard model. It gets Jeep’s signature seven-slot grille, flanked by sleek LED headlights and foglights that give it a butch and modern look. From the side, it looks big and commanding with a tall boxy stance and 20-inch alloy wheels. The window panes get chrome surrounds which look premium. The rear design is simple and clean. It features slim LED tail lights, a neat tailgate with the Jeep logo in the centre, and a dual-tone bumper with subtle chrome details.
Colour options remain the same as before including Rocky Mountain, Velvet Red, Diamond Black and Bright White.
Interior
Even inside, the cabin design of the Grand Cherokee Signature Edition looks familiar to the one found in the Limited O. It retains the all-black theme and the same dashboard layout with a 10.1-inch centre infotainment display and a 10.25-inch digital instrument cluster behind that. There’s also a third 10.25-inch display for the co-passenger entertainment. The centre console gets physical buttons and knobs for important features and also a rotary dial for the drive mode selection.
The Grand Cherokee also upholds a good amount of luxury with leather seats, multi-colour ambient lighting and heated seats for both front and second row.
Features & Safety
Other than the added gestures, the Signature Edition continues with the loads of features the Grand Cherokee is already equipped with like the triple displays on the dashboard we talked about above, a panoramic sunroof, 8-way power-adjustable and ventilated front seats, with memory function for the driver side. Additional features include an auto-dimming IRVM, dual-zone auto AC, wireless phone charger, powered tailgate, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, connected car tech and a 9-speaker Alpine sound system.
The Grand Cherokee also carries great safety features like 8 airbags, electronic stability control (ESC), hill start assist, traction control, electronic parking brake with auto hold, tyre pressure monitoring system (TPMS), a 360-degree camera and advanced driver assistance system (ADAS).
Powertrain Options
The Grand Cherokee Signature edition continues with the same 2-litre turbo-petrol engine, the detailed specification of which is given below:
