Limited edition Wagon R 'Krest' variant introduced

In a bid to attract maximum customers during the upcoming festive season, India's largest Maruti Suzuki has introduced Limited Edition of its Wagon R hatchback. Re-christened as Wagon R Krest, the special variant comes with several minor tweaks inside-out. Price of the model has been kept INR 22,500 above the standard model.

On the outside, the car gets new front grille, limited edition body graphic and stylish wheel covers. While the interiors features new seat covers, steering wheel cover and carpet floor mats. The limited edition model also comes with a keyless central locking.

Commenting on the introduction of new Wagon R Krest, Mr. Manohar Bhat, Vice President (Marketing) Maruti Suzuki India Limited said, “The Wagon R, one of India’s top selling models, is known for its attributes like smart space, features and high Fuel Efficiency. While the Wagon R customer is practical he still aspires for differentiation. In line with this expectation Wagon R Krest has been tastefully packed with features that are smart & technologically superior making it more attractive for the customer. We are confident features like Reverse Parking Sensor with digital display, double din audio with Bluetooth will be cherished by technology savvy customers.”

Powering the tall-boy hatch is a 1-litre K-series engine, which puts out 68PS of maximum power. It boasts tested-mileage of the 20.5 km/l in petrol, 26.6km/kg in CNG, while the LPG trim delivers 14.6km/l.

Just two days back, Maruti Suzuki launched the special editions of its Swift and Dzire too. The special editions named as as Swift Silver Plus and Swift Dzire Regalia. To read more, click here
