Made-In-India Honda Amaze launched in Nepal

Honda Amaze has been a big hit for the Japanese auto maker in the Indian car market, the car has already registered over 22,000 bookings in mere 2 months. The compact sedan is now launched in the Nepali market, the vehicle will be exported from India, is sold by the Honda's local distributor Syakar Trading Company (STC).

Initially, the company has introduced the sedan in three variants - the Honda Amaze EMT, EXMT and SMT. Only manual transmission is being offered, the automatic version of the car is likely to hit the Nepali market after sometime. Honda Amaze will compete against the Ford Fiesta Classic and the Maruti Suzuki Dzire.

Honda Amaze in Nepal also gets the same 1.2-litre four-cylinder SOHC i-VTEC petrol engine, which is capable of developing 87bhp at 6,000rpm and a peak torque of 109Nm at 4,500rpm. The car offers an impressive fuel economy of 18kmpl. The car offers a class-leading boot space of 400 litre, which is more than enough for the daily luggage. The vehicle will be available in six different colours- majestic blue metallic, carnelian, red pearl, urban titanic metallic, alabaster silver metallic, crystal black pearl and taffeta white.

Prices of Honda Amaze for Nepali buyers:

Amaze EMT- 2.55 million (around 15.90 lakh)

Amaze EXMT- 2.65 million (around 16.50 lakh)

Amaze SMT- 2.85 million (around 17.79 lakh)
