Mahindra Thar And XUV700 Average Waiting Period Drops To Around 6 Months

Only a few months back, the waiting period for both SUVs stood at over 12 months

Having launched the Scorpio N, Mahindra has also stepped up its production output. As a result, the waiting period for the Thar and the XUV700 has reduced significantly. 

In most cities, the waiting period for both cars is under six months and is still subjective to the variant and powertrain of choice. So, here’s how long prospective customers will have to wait to take delivery of the SUVs in the top 20 cities of the country:

• For the Thar, you’ll have to wait up to eight months in Pune and Thane. 

• In metro cities like Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru, Chennai and Kolkata, the wait time for the XUV700 is around three to four months and three to five months for the off-roader. 

• The XUV700 is available at the earliest in Faridabad, while the Thar has the least waiting period in Delhi.

• The Mahindra XUV700 is available in five variants - MX, AX3, AX5, AX7 and AX7 L - priced from Rs 13.18 lakh to Rs 24.58 lakh. 

• The Mahindra Thar can be had in AX and MX trims, both in hardtop and soft top (convertible) options. The off-roader retails from Rs 13.53 lakh to Rs 16.03 lakh (all prices ex-showroom Delhi).
