The XUV300 TurboSport gets a 130PS/230Nm 1.2-litre turbo-petrol engine, which produces 20PS and 30Nm more than the other turbo motor and also the overboost option. The new engine gets a 6-speed MT as standard, without the option of an AMT. Meanwhile, the subcompact SUV can also be had with a 1.5-litre diesel engine too.
Does It Look Different?
Not too much. The XUV300 TurboSport gets subtle exterior upgrades in form of four new colours, gloss black finish for the grille, ORVMs, and roof rails, red inserts all around, and the new Twin Peaks logo.
Inside the cabin, there’s a new all-black interior theme, which looks sportier than the regular variants’ dual-tone shade. The steering wheel, gear lever, and the seats are covered in leather and red contrast stitching.
Any Feature Upgrades?
None. The XUV300 TurboSport continues with the same bells and whistles of the top-spec W8 (O) variant. The list includes an electric sunroof, dual-zone climate control, 7-inch touchscreen system, cruise control, automatic headlamps and wipers, six airbags, disc brakes at all ends, and front parking sensors.
Competition Check
While the Mahindra XUV300 battles with other subcompact SUVs, the XUV300 TurboSport goes against the Hyundai Venue N Line, which is the regular SUV’s sportier variant.
