Maruti ranks 7th as the 'Most Trusted Brand' in India

The auto mobile industry growth has made quite an impact on the economy last year. Various auto mobile companies have registered themselves as the most trusted brand in the nation. The report that suggested that was released in a study conducted by The Trust Research Advisory (TRA). Maruti Suzuki India was honoured with the seventh place in the list, the German luxury car maker BMW landed on the 33rd place, Hyundai, the Korean auto maker stood at 43rd place, Toyota Motors, the Japanese auto giant was positioned at 66th place, Ford Motors, the US auto maker at 74th position, Mercedes- Benz at 81st rank, Audi the auto company which is gaining popularity in India secured 104th position and Suzuki the parent company of Maruti landed on 118th position. Skoda Motors ranked at 126th position, Tata Motors secured 159th rank, Ferrari settled for 162nd rank.
Trust Research Advisory (TRA), a well known research firm which does various research to simplify and understand various concepts related to trust, disclosed in the study. “The Brand Trust Report, India Study, 2011” was revealed a few days back in New Delhi in front of the media.
The Brand Trust Report, India Study, 2011 consists of detailed research to learn about trust through countless hours of discussions with various behavioural scientists and communication experts. TRA on the basis of its vast knowledge have created Trust Matrix , a proprietary which includes 61 different parts. It is though this matrix that TRA unveiled its primary research on Brand Trust in 9 cities country wide, interviewing 2310 respondents who were kept in the “influencer” category. Brand Trust, the most intensive study in India collected almost 10,00,000 data points and as many as 16,000 brands. Indian Statistical Institute also helped the company in its research in creating a statistical Trust Brand.
N. Chandramouli, CEO at Trust Research Advisory (TRA) said that this study includes rigorous work under strict parameters conducted by TRA, the first of its kind in India. As per him the study will greatly help the auto mobile sector. He also wished the auto companies luck and expects that this sector will emerge bigger and better in the coming time and is in process of becoming the “the most trusted brands”.
The Indian auto mobile maker Maruti Suzuki's composite score in the Brand Trust was nearing to the average score with the third lowest variance spread in 10 composite paradigm which shows strong correlation. However there are not any major shifts witnessed in the composite scores. The brownie point that Maruti scored was due to the exterior looks and also to its high standards.
The car brand maintains a great measure in its composite scores, the zones and variations are high. As per the result North and East zone topped in the Maruti's list over the other two zones. The East zone pulled the lead as the least brand trust zone, West is marked by three times and the other lowest zone was South by two times. Maruti Suzuki India scored highest in the primary parameter of the Brand Trust which has been consistent from a long time.
