Maruti Suzuki India back on Track, Records 9.84% Growth in September

Maruti Suzuki India that saw a dip in August sales due to Manesar lock out has started gaining the momentum again, in September the company sold a total 93,988 units over last year's 85,565 units in the same month, recording a growth of 9.84 per cent. Out of total sales, they sold 88,801 units in domestic market as compared to 78,816 units in the same month last year, however the exports came down by 23.14 per cent. While the small segment cars that consists M800, Alto, A-Star and WagnoR recorded a 4.89 per cent growth, the compact segment that has Estilo, Ritz and Swift inspected a 9.89 % dip in sales.
Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire which suffered the most in the last month, this time around it grew by 24.26 per cent by selling 11,694 units as compared to 9,411 units in the September last year. Maruti Suzuki SX4 which too was inspecting the constant loss recorded a 46.49 per cent growth, possibly because of the Celebration edition of the sedan that they launched recently with a lesser price tag. MSI's luxury sedan Kizashi could not do well again for the company.
