Maruti Suzuki not to hike its price

The Indian automajor, Maruti Suzuki have stated that they are not planning to increase its prices in order to keep them in a competative state. When asked about the price rise from Maruti Suzuki, R C Bhargav, Chairman of Maruti Suzuki stated that their officials have already announced that they would not hike their product prices at this point of time. He added that in December mostly it happens that the car manufacturers announce the increase in the car prices in order to boost their sales so that the buyers approach for purchasing the products prior the price increases. He commented that they have no such plans at present to increase the car prices.

Bhargava also commented that they have to review the sitution prior to increase the price and have to judge whether the market can bear the increase in respective prices or not. He added that they have to see how far they can opt not to increase the prices and if in future any such price rise would be required, the company will surely go for that. He also stated that earlier too price rises by Maruti Suzuki has been economical and fair.

The official said that sometimes they have to increase the car prices when it comes to high demands not because the company wants to take the advantage but due shortage of conditions as they also understand the importance of their relationships with the potential customers. He added that they have no plans to increase the prices due to temporary shortage.

Its good to hear maruti is not suppose hike their car prices...if so then potential customers like me will go for any other better deal. because already Toyota etios (sedan) come up with compatible price in market. if small hatchback cars will be comparitively same with sedan cars then obiviusly people will go for sedan instead. My suggestion to keep market stable & looking the petrol hike within this period most of people disappointed to buy cars. there should be tremendous decrease in sale of car as compare to past three years. so prices should be maintain to increase in sale ratio as per my analysis. Although maruti is giving luxury in the car. Other company comparatively giving same facilities on remarkable price, which will force buyers to approach the great deal.
