Maruti Swift bags 'Indian car of the year' award

The brand new Maruti Swift managed to bag the Indian Car of the Year (ICOTY) award this year. These awards are just like the European, Japanese and America Car of the year awards. The entire list of constraints and factors are used to evaluate the winner.

The major competition to Swift hatchback were Hyundai Eon, Honda Brio, Hyundai Verna and Toyota Etios Liva, but Maruti Swift managed to fight it out and came out as a shinning winner. Maruti Suzuki India has always offered proud products, which received huge amount of appreciation from both, the consumers and the critics.

The Maruti Swift hatchback came out to be a winner, whereas the second position went to Honda Brio and Hyundai Eon secured the third position. Other cars such as Mahindra XUV 500 and Hyundai Eon were impressive in their own way. Maruti Swift being the winner clearly shows that the brand is not only popular with the people but also amongst the jurors too.
