Germans… one can expect surprises from them every now and then. The latest surprise that we are referring to comes from the house of Mercedes-Benz. Mercedes-Benz is said to be working on the A45 AMG which will make its debut in the first quarter of 2013. The design is speculatively imagined by Virtuel-Car’s Khalil Bouguerra. The rendering depicts that the hatchback will sport a four-cylinder 2.0-litre turbo engine which will be capable of churning out a power of 330bhp and a torque of 400Nm.
Along with this, the front bumper is new and it is expected that the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG will have elongated LED light bars and also flash black alloy wheels. This car will include the AMG Speedshift DCT 7-speed sports transmission along with a dual clutch technology and will be an all-wheel drive. The suspension will be independent for front and rear axles. The performance will also result in AMG speed-sensitive sports steering, high performance braking system and a 3-stage ESP along with Sports handling mode. Commenting on the same, Mercedes-Benz board chairman Ola Källenius said that Mercedes aims to build a car that is dynamic and one of the most powerful in its segment and at the same time is also an efficient 4-cylinder series production compact car.
