Mr. R C Bhargava, Chairman, MSI felicitated by Emperor Akihito of Japan

Mr. RC Bhargava, Chairman, Maruti Suzuki India Limited has been conferred the coveted `The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star’, by Emperor Akihito of Japan.  The award recognizes Mr. Bhargava’s unparalleled contribution to the promotion of economic and bilateral relations between Japan and India.

Mr. Bhargava will be bestowed `The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star’ by His Majesty, on 7th November 2011 at the Imperial Palace in Tokyo, Japan.  ‘The Orders of the Rising Sun decorations’ are conferred in recognition of individual’s (both Japanese and foreign) distinguished accomplishments. ’The Order of the Rising Sun, Gold and Silver Star’ is the second highest amongst ‘The Orders of the Rising Sun decorations.’
