New Audi A6 India launch was expected to happen in the month of September this year, but the auto major surprised everyone by launching the car in August. The New Audi A6 is about 80kgs lighter than its forerunner. New Audi A6 is available in two diesel variants an two petrol variants. New Audi A6 2.8 FSI price for the petrol variant is tagged at Rs. 39.90 Lakhs, Audi A6 3.0 TFSI Quattro price for the petrol variant is around Rs. 47.00 Lakhs, on the other hand the Audi A6 2.0 TDI price for the diesel variant is tagged at Rs. 37.70 Lakhs and finally the Audi A6 3.0 TDI Quattro price for the diesel variant is around Rs. 46.95 Lakhs(ex-showroom New-Delhi).

As per the new Audi A6 specifications, the new Audi A6 2.8 FSI petrol version is powered with 2.8 FSI engine which is capable of churning out maximum power of 201 BHP at 6500rpm, along with a peak torque of 280 Nm at 3000-5000rpm. The Audi A6 2.8 FSI petrol version can reach maximum speed of 240 Kmph. Audi A6 3.0 TFSI Quattro is powered with a 3.0 litre Turbocharged FSI petrol engine which can churn out a maximum power of 295bhp at 6500rpm along with a peak torque of 440Nm at 2900-4500rpm. Audi A6 3.0 TFSI Quattro can attain top speed of 250kmph.

However, the diesel version of the new Audi A6, Audi A6 2.0 TDI sports a 2.0 litre TDI diesel engine, which can pump 174bhp at 4200 and a robust 380Nm torque at 1750-2500rpm. New Audi A6 2.0 TDI can reach maximum speed of 222 kmph. Audi A6 3.0 TDI Quattro adorns a 3.0 litre diesel engine which produces 241bhp at 4500rpm and 500Nm torque at 1400-3250rpm.
