The lukewarm response received for the Ford Fiesta sedan has made the auto major to re-think the strategies of launching new variants every now and then. Now, it is confirmed that the six-speed dual clutch powershift automatic gearbox will be introduced in the top-end petrol variant of Ford Fiesta sedan to amplify its presence in the C-segment. This step taken by the auto major will take the price to touch the Rs 10 lakhs mark with a huge leap of Rs 70,000 on the Titanium variant.

Ford Fiesta sedan has been unable to generate the sales volumes the company had envisaged. The car has been revamped to offer a plethora of features like the interactive entertainment system, cruise control with hill descent control and hill hold and pull –drift adjustable power steering.
