Ford India is leaving no stone unturned in publicizing its new Ford Fiesta which is expected to hit Indian roads this July. Ford India recently shared information on its 2011 Ford Fiesta and spilled more beans to create a buzz in Indian car market. With new Ford Fiesta price is yet to be disclosed, company is going to draft the price tag judiciously, since it will be the key deciding factor of Ford’s popularity in India.

According to latest reports the new Ford Fiesta features will include convex-edged rear view mirrors compared to American version which incorporates a dual mirror arrangement. Making modifications in the car horn, the tone and clarity of horn in 2011 Ford Fiesta will be more powerful in Indian version.Ford India earlier unveiled its upcoming car at an event in Bengaluru. Expected to enter Indian market in diesel and petrol variants, company has also indicated the substantial upgrade of the car interiors in the future.

As for now, reports suggest that new 2011 Ford Fiesta’s backlight is expected to be changed from red to blue. Adding to this, Indian version of Ford Fiesta 2011 will come up with two dials showing fuel consumption in liters/100km and liters/hour. Furthermore, company is looking into regionalizing the Ford Fiesta i.e. modifying the car according to the area.Other changes in new Ford Fiesta comprises of rear seat added with padded support, armrest with cup holders and grab handles which are currently not available in American Ford Fiesta.

In terms of engine and fuel, Ford Fiesta 2011 is not expected to adorn the TiVCT badge on the boot lid but the diesel model of the car will sport a Duratorq logo.Some of the American Ford Fiesta features which are not included in the Indian version are cap less fuel filler and push-button ignition system. The Indian version of the car is expected to come without Automatic Transmission feature, but could reach Indian market next year in comparison to 6-speed dual clutch affixed in American variant. Moreover, Ford India is currently eyeing on newly launched Hyundai Verna sales graph before launching the AT system in new Ford Fiesta.
