New Ford Figo launched at Rs. 3.85 Lakh

Just a few hours ago we bought to you the Ford Figo brochure that was leaked ahead of its launch. And now the new facelift Figo has been officially launched. We have several details of the changes to be seen along with the Ford Figo price. Like we mentioned in our previous news piece, the Ford Figo gets new headlamps, new steering column mounted audio controls, new tail lamps, alloy wheels, new front bumper and a new seat fabric design. 

In addition to these changes we will also see the new Figo in two new colours; Kinetic Blue (Borrowed from the Fiesta) and Bright Yellow. In addition to that, the sporty red dashboard plastic colour has been replaced by cool navy blue.

As per one tweet, the Ford Figo facelift comes with “100 changes with 10 styling changes without a change in price.” That is almost true; the New Ford Figo is priced at Rs. 3.85 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the petrol version and Rs. 4.82 lakh (Ex-showroom Delhi) for the diesel version. CarDekho’s claims about no major changes to the engine also get confirmed as the new Figo comes with the same engine specs as the old one. However Ford has claimed to have made some tweaks to the engine for improved performance and NVH levels.

The Figo that proved to be a game changer for ford after its launch, has helped Ford India as well to do business in volumes that they had never done before. So showing the confidence in the facelift version, Michael Boneham, Ford India's President and MD said: “The Ford Figo is a big game-changer for us and has won the trust of customers as a reliable, substantial vehicle with outstanding value. With the addition of all new exciting features in the New Figo, we believe our customers will truly find that Change is a wonderful thing,” 

“We thank our customers for making the Figo so successful within such a short span and believe the New Figo will take their brand experience to a new level,” Boneham added.
