It will rival the likes of the Skoda Octavia, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla Altis in India. Like its rivals, the new Civic will be offered with petrol and diesel engines. However, in the Civic’s case, the petrol engine will be available with a CVT only, while the diesel engine will be offered with a manual transmission only.
