New Hyundai i10 coming on 23rd

The most popular hatchback in India, Hyundai i10 has been revamped and will be launched on 23rd of this month, according to confirmed news reports. Hyundai India is also reported to display this car at the Paris Motor Show in the month end after the official launch in India. This time, the company has added some cosmetic stuff along with new engine technology; the existing car mill-Kapppa-will be added with Variable Timing Valve Train (VTVT) technology in view to get more power and torque along with higher fuel efficiency. After installing new engine, power output will be 2 PS more.


The New Hyundai i10 is redesigned with aggressive front and rear. The initial pictures show a new design headlamp, front grille, air intake etc. There is no noticeable change in the rear but it still looks a little fresh. In the same way, interior design seems very much same as the existing version.

The New Hyundai i10 is available in India with two type of powertrains that are 1.1 iRDE petrol and 1.2 Kappa petrol. The 1.1 litre petrol engine's specifications read: 1086cc, 4 cylinder, 12 valve, SOHC, capable enough to churn out a top power of 66.7 PS at 5500 rpm and 10.1 Nm at 2800 rpm; the model is mated with a 5 speed manual gearbox. The 1.2 litre Kappa petrol engine is configured with 4 cylinders, 16 valve, DOHC, 1,197cc; the engine lays out peak power of 80 PS at 5200 and pumps out a top torque of 11.4 Nm at 4000 rpm. You can go for a 5 speed manual transmission variant or a 4 speed automatic variant according to your requirement. The Hyundai i10 is available between price range of 3.47 lakh to 5.61 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
