The Mercedes-Benz has its all new Mercedes-Benz C class launch slated on September 1st, this year in an event that is to take place in Delhi. The next generation Mercedes-Benz C class is believed to have undergone mid-life change with respect to the headlamps and bumpers to take upon the latest cars in the premium segment cars in India. The potential rivals that the new Mercedes-Benz C class is likely to target is BMW 3 series that is going to be introduced to the public in the Frankfurt Motor Show held in mid-September.

A change in the front bumper that is likely to come integrated with the day time running LED lamps is also made, other than which nothing major had been observed with respect to the appearance. However, the Mercedes-Benz C class interiors is supposed to have witnessed some changes.

Now the new Mercedes Benz C Class specifications reveal that, the machine under the hoods is likely to be a 1.8 liter 4-cylinder petrol engine that is capable of generating a maximum power of 186 Bhp and peak torque of 285 Nm. The base variant of the diesel version of Mercedes-Benz C class is expected to come with equipped with a 2.2 liter 170 Bhp engine churning out a maximum torque of 400 Nm. The high-end version of the diesel driven sedan is also expected to house a 2.2 liter engine producing the maximum power output of 204 Bhp and 500 Nm peak torque. Mercedes-Benz India is reported to have plans to offer a refreshed version of extremely powerful Mercedes-Benz C63 AMG version that comes equipped with 6.3 liter V8 powerhouse in future.
With Audi planning to launch its new Audi A6 and BMW its new BMW 3 series, the market is likely to be buzzing will all new car launches in the luxury car segment, hoping that the price of all three upcoming models are competitive enough to set the domestic car market on fire.
