Suzuki revealed the European model of the 2013 Grand Vitara at the Moscow International Automobile Salon. The facelift had already made its debut at the home ground for Japanese car maker, earlier this year. Looking at this trend it seems, India might also been seeing the SUV by the end of this year.
The major changes have been in terms of the exterior design and interiors. The exterior sees a new front grille with a redesigned bumper, new 17 inch and 18 inch alloy wheels, black headlamp bezels along with chrome moldings at the side and ORVMs with integrated turning signals.
The SUV will flash two new colors- Bison Brown Pearl Metallic 2 and Gaia Bronze Pearl Metallic, as well. Inside, the new Grand Vitara will get new seats and door panel fabrics along with a new standard infotainment system with integrated navigations and new optional backup camera.
The Indian market is more likely to see the Japanese Domestic Market model. It is being said that the SUV will come in as a CKD – Completely Knocked Down units which should result in lowering the price in comparison to the CBU – Completely Built Units, models that we see at present. The Suzuki Grand Vitara price in India lies in the range of Rs. 16.94 Lakh – Rs. 18.26 Lakh.
