Following its close-to-production concept debut at the Japan Mobility Show 2023, Suzuki unveiled the fourth-generation Suzuki Swift in its home market. This updated model features comprehensive styling changes and a new 1.2-litre petrol engine. The Japanese automaker has also now revealed the available color options for the new-gen Swift. Let's take a closer look at each of them one by one.
Frontier Blue Metallic
This shade is similar to the Pearl Metallic Midnight Blue offered with the India-spec Maruti Swift.
Cool Yellow Metallic
This is one of the new shades for the next-gen Suzuki Swift that was also showcased at the Japan Mobility Show.

Burning Red Pearl Metallic
The most iconic shade for a Swift, called Solid Fire Red on the current India-spec model.
Flame Orange Pearl Metallic
This shade looks a bit brighter than the Pearl Metallic Lucent Orange currently offered in India.
Caravan Ivory Pearl Metallic
Another one of the new shades for the new-gen Swift, it is one of the more mature options in this list and more stylish than the likes of white or silver.
Pure White Pearl
A staple colour for almost any model and suits the updated looks of the new-gen Swift.

The Pure White Pearl colour can also be had with a contrasting black roof which makes it look sportier.

As per Suzuki, the prices for the Frontier Blue Pearl Metallic, Burning Red Pearl Metallic, Pure White Pearl, Premium Silver Metallic and dual-tone roof options of the Swift will vary from other body colours.

A New Engine
The new-gen Suzuki Swift features a 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z-series petrol engine, replacing the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder K-series engine offered with the current Swift in India. While Suzuki has not yet disclosed the output figures for the new engine, it will be paired with a CVT automatic gearbox for enhanced fuel efficiency. Meanwhile, the India-spec model is expected to offer both manual and automatic options.
Expected India Launch
The 2024 Maruti Swift has already begun testing in India, and recent spy shots of the hatchback reveal new design details and features specific to the India-spec version. The new-generation Swift is expected to launch in the first half of 2024, with a starting price anticipated to be from Rs 6 lakh onwards. It will compete with the Hyundai Grand i10 Nios while being a sportier alternative to the Maruti Wagon R and Maruti Ignis.
