The all new Toyota Camry, which was unveiled by the company at this year’s Auto Expo held in Delhi is planning to launch the vehicle soon in India. Our close sources have hinted us that the launch may take place any time in August, (most probably in the last week) or max in the September. 2012 Toyota Camry was previously caught doing test runs in multiple cities of India, and that has made us believe more on the claim.
The all new Camry will come carrying some significant changes to it that include radiator grille with six horizontally kept chrome slats, new rectangular headlamps, improved fog lamps, stylish bonnet and some other changes making its front fascia certainly better than before. While on the rear, it will sport the neater tail lamps cluster and refreshed bumper, which makes it equally superb from the back.
Under the hood, it is the 2.5-litre petrol mill mated to a 6-speed automatic gear transmission that churns out the maximum of 167bhp. And as we reported in the past as well, the all new Camry will come as CKD and to be assembled locally, so the price of the vehicle is likely to go cheaper than the existing models. We are expecting its price to be between Rs 21.50 lakh and Rs 23.73 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi)
