New Volkswagen Beetle to go on sale in 2012

Volkswagen, the German automobile manufacturers is coming with the new model of Volkswagen Beetle to be out on sale in 2012. The third generation car was seen for the first time on road for a test drive in Bavaria, Germany. The baby on wheel was looking stunning with noted changes which were quite visible. The sneak preview of the car revealed it enjoying the drive on road in Bavaria, Germany. Everyone is curious to know more about the new upcoming model of the Volkswagen Beetle, third generation. As per the sources, the car is more stout and masculine which is because it wants to attract the male buyers. But the USP of Volkswagen Beetle the nose is kept intact.

Volkswagen has given cosmetic changes to the new model. The interiors and exterior has gone through some cosmetic changes. The new baby is sleek and also gracefully carries its archaic look. The car still sticks to its balloon like round shape and chubby features. The classic style of the Volkswagen Beetle, the outward wheel archs which is the trademark is still the same. The changes are on the doors, windows, few internal changes has given the new model a new feel. Well it is rumoured that the Volkswagen Beetle (critiqued for its looks) is inspired by Volkswagen Ragster. It is being said because the roof of the car is less curvy which is Volkswagen Ragster look.

The new Volkswagen Beetle has not only gone under cosmetic changes but will also come with advanced technology. The new mini car will be on Volkswagen Golf VI lines and it is anticipated that, it will be affixed with the same powertrain. From the insiders, it is being heard that, the new Volkswagen Beetle coming in 2012 will come in petrol and diesel engine which will have 1.2 TSI with 105 hp, a 1.4 TSI with 160 hp and a powerful 2.0 TSI with 210 hp. The diesel variant of the new Volkswagen Beetle will offer 1.6TDI with 105 hp and 2.0 TDI with 140 hp. The third generation of Volkswagen Beetle from the Volkswagen family will hopefully attract more buyers and continue to write its success story.
