Hyundai Tucson’s next-gen model has been under works for quite some time as the numerous spy shots in the past would suggest. Now, someone on the Internet has snuck an official design sketch of the upcoming SUV from under Hyundai’s nose.
We could say the interior looks futuristic but that would be stating the obvious as every car is usually a step up over its predecessor. Moreover, design sketches are bound to look a tad exaggerated compared to what we could get as production-spec in the future.
Noteworthy elements include the generous usage of screens for not just the infotainment system but also the instrument cluster and the air-con controls that sit below the former. The central AC vent is reminiscent of the Creta and so is the steering wheel but with quirks of its own such as the extensions inside it. In fact, the top T-shaped panel with the central console serving as its leg is similar to the smaller Creta. The thick central tunnel also gets two cup holders and a foldable armrest with a storage bin.
Moving on to the spy shots, you can make out that the fourth-gen Hyundai Tucson will get an updated, more dynamic grille in line with Hyundai’s new Sensuous Sportiness design language. The headlamps seem replete with additional LED elements and also in the mix are updated tail lamps.
