Chevrolet Sail launched – interesting week
This week we had witnessed the launch of the Chevrolet Sail, one of the few hatchbacks that got launched this year. The Sail is available with 1.2-litre petrol and 1.3-litre diesel engine. To read about the car read further. This week, Ford also inaugurated its first Quicklane service station. Here the customer can see his vehicle being serviced and even speak to the technician as he services the car. The idea is to improve the transparency for the customer, as he will know what all changes are done to his car.

Maruti Suzuki working on a new SX4
Maruti Suzuki, past the recent launch of Alto800, would dedicate in stylizing SX4 a new, while planning for its showroom display some where in coming years' first quarter. SX4 has been dull performance-wise, compelling the car giant to strategize the sales, by new designs, challenging this would be the fact that sx4 lovers desire specific price bounds. Not to mention India has been the perfect market for rolling the brand's automobiles, the target would not be lot difficult to hit.

Buoyed by poor sales Maruti stops Kizashis' import, offers Rs.5 lakh discount
Maruti Suzuki India, which is known for its entry level cars in India and has been an unbeatable one so far, however when it comes to the upmarket segment, the Japanese company has been so lucky. Maruti Kizashi, the high end contender from Maruti's stable, was launched 18 months back has not been able to capture eyeballs translating into poor sales and forcing the company to put a halt to the import of the vehicle. Apparently, Maruti is also offering Rs.5 lakh of a discount on the manual variant of the premium sedan and Rs.5.5 lakh on the automatic one.

Assembled in India Mercedes-Benz ML350 and GL-Class to Launch in 2013
The Luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz that rolled out the locally assembled ML250 CDI on 10th October, 2012 at a price of Rs 46.5 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi), has now officially said to locally assemble the ML350 and GL-Class at its Chakan facility with an objective to make them more affordable buy in India. While the assembly of ML350 is likely to start in next 2-3 months, the GL-Class' local production will begin in later 2013, most probably in the second half. The company will also start assembling the SUV in two other South East Asian countries- Thailand and Indonesia.
