Nissan Evalia facelift launched at Rs 8.78 lakh

Nissan India has silently introduced a facelifted version of the Evalia MPV in the Indian car market. The company has also added a new top spec XV S variant to the lineup, and it is priced at Rs. 10.55 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). The new variant costs Rs. 30,000 more than the previous top end XV model. The Japanese automaker has also updated its official website, providing some valuable information about the updates given to the MPV.
The facelifted Evalia MPV sports a rear wiper, and the rear windows of the second row can be opened. The company continues with its design philosophy, however the windows on the rear doors now slide forwards as against the Ashok Leyland Stile's rear sliding units. The vehicle also features an all-new 15-inch alloy wheels.
The vehicle offers a comfortable seat for seven and now features a rear AC vents for the comfort of back seat passengers. The new Evalia MPV now comes equipped with tilt steering, which further enhances the overall driving experience on city conditions. The company also offers several comfort features including cushion pillow set (Beige and Greige Colored), seat belt pad & neck pillow set (Beige and Greige colored), Carpet Mat (Black), steering wheel cover (Beige and Greige) and few others.
Under the hood, the facelifted Evalia gets the same 1.5-litre dCi diesel engine that churns out a maximum power output of 88bhp and 200NM of top torque. The engine is mated to a five-speed manual transmission, which transmits power to the front wheels of the car. Nissan Evalia MPV offers an impressive fuel economy of 19.3kmpl (ARAI Certified).
