Nissan Evalia Specifications Revealed, Launch on 25th September: Exclusive

CarDekho has been constantly reporting about Nissan Evalia and the stories surrounding. We recently cracked its launch date first in the Industry, which is Setember 25th. Now some of our trusted sources have provided us the brochure of the car that tells everything about the car including no. of variants and features it will come with.

Engine and Dimension

The company will brought this 7-seater MPV in a total four variants (all diesel) namely Nissan Evalia XE, Nissan Evalia XE+, Nissan Evalia XL and Nissan Evalia XV. Under the hood it will be the K9K 1461cc, straight-4 automobile engine developed by Renault and Nissan together. Mated to a five-speed manual transmission, the engine will churn out the maximum power output of 85bhp and 200Nm of torque. A decent ground clearance of 180mm along with the overall dimensions of 4400x1695x1880 (Length x width x height) it proves to be enough huge to accommodate 7 adults very comfortably.

Interior

The fitments given inside the cabin also proves it to be a pretty good car. All seats are reclining, 2nd Row Folding System, two pieces headrest for 2nd seat, seat belt for 2nd seat, Manual Air conditioner with Heater, power steering, Tilt Steering Wheel, Seat Back table and various other features make it a comfortable, advanced and certainly a good looker.

Exterior & Features

As we told in the past, the new Nissan Evalia features Sliding 2nd door , Body Coloured Bumper, Electronic Control ORVM, Boxy rear that make it look average. Alloy wheels are only available in top end variant.

Safety Features

Nissan Evalia has got all the safety features as per the Indian standards, like Driver and passenger Airbags (Except the low ), Brake Assist, ABS, EBD and Door Ajar Warning, proving it to be a safe vehicle to drive.

Then There are some features which are only available in top end variants such as Rear RR Cooler as an option for rear AC vents, Rear Monitor Camera with Display, Central Locking System, Keyless Entry, Immobilizer with Intelligent Key, Coloured Multi Information Display and a few others. However, nothing on the price has been disclosed by the company officials, but we expect it to come in a price bracket of Rs 9-12 lakh, which will help it compete with other of its rivals including Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, Toyota Innova, Mahindra Xylo and others.
