Nissan India registers highest ever monthly sales of 1857 nos. in January 2011

Nissan Motors India registered its highest sales in the Indian auto market. The Japanese auto giant sold 1857 car models for the month of January 2011 over 40 car models sold in the same period last year.

Nissan Micra the made in India, Global compact hatchback takes the company marching forward by witnessing sale of 1784 car models for the month of January 2011 over the sale of December 2010 which was 1057 car models. Since it was lunched last year in 2010, January 2011 sales registered the highest sales figure. Till now 8225 car models of Nissan Micra have been rolled out since it saw its dawn in India. Nissan Micra is affixed with standard warranty for 2 years or 50,000 kms whichever comes first.

Nissan Teana, the premium luxury sedan which is shipped as a CBU witnessed a sale of 21 car models in January 2011 against the 30 car models of the same sold in January 2010. 52 car models of the Nissan X-Trail, the super savvy SUV which is also exported in CBU, were rolled over the 10 car models sold in January 2010.

Nissan Motors is also working on its after sales services by opening various centres in various parts of the country. It also runs a service scheme which includes Roadside Assistance and Extended Warranty on its car models.
