After tying up with the International Cricket Council until 2023, popular automaker Nissan has released two new special edition vehicles at the ongoing event of Indian Auto Expo 2016. For the 8 year period, Nissan will remain the main sponsor of major ICC events including ICC Cricket World Cup and ICC Twenty20 World Cup. The two new vehicles are Twenty20 editions of the popular Nissan Terrano and Nissan Micra. Being limited editions, both these vehicles would be available in vibrant new colors along with having decals on the exterior. The interior portion of the car would also be covered in the Twenty20 theme to cash in on the current popularity of the world event.
The Nissan Terrano Twenty20 World Cup Edition is developed around the XV S variant incorporating a 1.2 litre petrol engine that produces 110PS power along with a 248Nm torque. The engine will be mated to a 6 speed manual transmission system. Other features offered by the SUV comprise of 16 inch machined alloys, electric ORVM, ABS, rear silver skid plates, EBD, dual tone interiors, glossy piano black centre front fascia, etc.
Then there is the Nissan Micra Twenty20 World Cup edition that carves away 68PS power and 104Nm torque via the 1.2 litre petrol motor. Other features include dual front airbags, keyless entry, EBD, four speakers, ABS, power entry, etc. We can expect a certain bit of flavor and flamboyance with the exterior design of both Nissan Micra Twenty20 World Cup Edition and Nissan Terrano Twenty20 World Cup Edition and with the World Cup Twenty20 2016 around the corner in March, the vehicles have a good chance of doing well.
