Nissan Micra registers 54,000 confirmed bookings

Nissan Micra has registered fifty four thousand confirmed bookings till now, according to the sources, from world wide markets. Before six months, Nissan Micra of the fourth generation was introduced in Thailand. Later on, the Indian launch of Micra took place. Both of these markets gave a good response to Micra with a good number of sales. Even Japan, the home land of Nissan also showed an unparalleled momentum in the bookings of Micra. To meet its increasing demand in India, Nissan started its second shift operations at its Chennai plant. Micra was able to secure about 26,000 units bookings in Thailand alone. This is quite above the initial expectations of Nissan. Even in India, Nissan has sold more than thousand units since the time of its launch. The overwhelming response that Micra got is now inspiring Nissan to dream even bigger. Akihisa Suzuki, Global Chief Marketing Manager of Nissan Motors commented that the company is targeting for reaching one million units within 2013, for the three models based on the new V platform.

Now here is what makes Nissan Micra special. The model has got unique and perfect characteristics which any regular commuter wants. These characteristics are related to the interior space, fuel efficiency. The model is also priced competitively in its concerned segment.
