After about a year or so Nissan commencing its work on Vision Gran Turismo concept, the company’s valiant effort resulted in the 2020 Vision concept. Unlike all other concepts, which are never met to hit the roads, Nissan might reward its fans by showcasing the next GT-R, which features similar aesthetics. This was made possible by the amazing positive response that was received by the 2020 Vision concept. The concept has been showcased with a new color scheme and other subtle aesthetic updates in the 2015 Tokyo motor show.
The new color scheme is denoted as ‘Fire Knight Red’ and the overall design incorporates extensive use of carbon fibre. The front features a prominent Nissan ‘V’. The car is till very much a concept but the Japanese automaker wants to make sure that this car is not forgotten by the public anytime soon.
“A vision of what a high performance Nissan could look like in the future, and the next story to an audience that has always shared our passion for performance.” is where Nissan’s description for this concept stands at. The new GT-R is expected to feature a twin-turbo V6, which will come coupled to environmental friendly hybrid technology. The company might also come out with a completely electric version of the GT-R while both the cars are not expected to be slouches on the track, in the true GT-R tradition.
