BMW India will launch its performance enhanced M3 sedan and M4 Coupe in country on November 27th. The all-new BMW M4 will be launched at the Buddh International Circuit. The company is bringing BMW Experience Tour 2014 at the BIC where owners and customers will get an opportunity to experience the thrill of BMW M cars.
Mechanically, both the cars are powered by the potent 3.0-litre, 6 cylinder, BMW M twin-turbo petrol engine which musters power in figures of 425bhp and peak torque of 550Nm. With the newly developed M TwinPower Turbo technology developed for the new M twins, power increase of roughly 40 per cent is seen. The engine is expected to come along with an optional seven-speed M Double Clutch Transmission. The fuel economy is also enhanced as the consumption and emissions are reduced by 25 per cent.
Both the BMW M3 Sedan and BMW M4 Coupe are capable to achieve 0 to 100 km/h in mere 4.1 seconds with an electronically limited top speed of 250kmph. The acceleration is enhanced by track-specification cooling system, ensuring optimum temperature balance for the engine, turbochargers and transmission is maintained at all times.
