Prices Of Maruti Wagon R, Fronx, Ertiga And XL6 Hiked By Up To Rs 14,000

The Maruti Wagon R witnessed the highest hike followed by the Maruti Ertiga and XL6
Maruti had stated in March 2025 that it will be increasing the prices of all of its models from April 2025. In that regard, the carmaker has already hiked models like the Maruti Grand Vitara and Eeco, with both cars getting 6 airbags (as standard) and the former getting new features as well. The Maruti Wagon R was also updated with such a safety feature, but its price was not hiked, until now. Moreover, prices of the Maruti XL6, Maruti Ertiga and Maruti Fronx were also increased by a substantial margin. Here are all the details:

Prices of the Maruti XL6, which is based on the same platform as the Ertiga, was also hiked by the same margin as its 7-seater sibling.
Rivals
The Maruti Wagon R rivals the Maruti Celerio, Tata Tiago and the Citroen C3. The Fronx locks horns with Toyota Taisor and can also be considered a competitor to sub-4m SUVs such as the Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Kia Sonet. The Maruti Ertiga and XL6 takes on the Kia Carens and can be considered an affordable alternative to the Maruti Invicto, Toyota Innova Crysta and Toyota Innova Hycross.
