Renault Sandero to hit Indian roads by mid 2012

Renault India might arrive with its much anticipated five door hatchback, Renault Sandero by the mid of 2012. Recently, Renault India showcased its brand new small car, Renault Pulse, which received pretty positive response from the experts. With Renault Pulse, Renault is planning to launch Renault Sandero very soon in the country. Internationally, Renault Sandero is available in 4 different engine options, including 1.6 litre, 1.2 litre and 1.4 litre petrol motors accompanied with 1.5 dCi diesel engine. This new car by Renault has its foundation of Logan platform.

In the month of May 2011, the face lifted version of Renault Sandero was launched in Brazil, which received raving reviews there. Now rumors suggest that Renault Sandero will hit the Indian roads by mid of 2012. The price of Renault Sandero has been still kept under the hood. But, according to the reports, the price of yet to be launched Renault Sandero will be kept between Rs. 4 to Rs. 6 lakh. The major competitors of Renault Sandero in India include Hyundai i20, Ford Figo and Maruti Swift. Renault India also offers other cars in the country, which comprise of Renault Koleos and Renault Fluence sedan. Renault Koleos was launched recently in the month of September 2011.
