Renault (Dacia) has unveiled the 2022 Duster facelift in Europe with visual upgrades inside and out, additional features and a new automatic gearbox.
Starting with the styling up front, it gets new LED headlamps, LED indicators, a slightly revised front bumper, and a new chrome detailed grille. You also get a new set of alloy wheels and Y-shaped LED tail lamps, which bring out its refreshed look. The silhouette, however, remains unchanged with the bold stance and protruding wheel arches.
The cabin looks largely unchanged, but gets new materials, a slightly revised centre console design, a sliding armrest and a new 8-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.
It now features automatic headlamps, a 3.5-inch MID screen and cruise control as standard fitment. The higher-spec variants will get heated front seats, automatic AC, a 360-degree camera and blind spot monitoring. The 4X4 variants additionally get adaptive hill descent control and real-time off-road data (altimeter, inclinometer and compass).
The facelifted Euro-spec Duster continues with its same five engines: a 101PS 1.0-litre Bi-Fuel (Petrol-LPG), a 91PS 1.0-litre turbo-petrol, a 132PS/152PS 1.3-litre turbo-petrol and a 117PS 1.5-litre diesel.
While a 6-speed manual transmission is standard for all the engines, the petrol engines get a new 6-speed DCT (dual clutch automatic) as an option. There’s 4X2 and 4X4 drivetrains on offer, the latter only available with the diesel engine.

While the international markets get the second-generation Duster and will soon get its facelift as well, India is stuck with the first-generation model. As of now, there’s no report of the new-generation Duster heading over to India.
