Styling Changes
The Skoda Kushaq was already available with the Carbon Steel shade, but the matte paint finish looks a lot sportier. Complementing it are the ORVMs, door handles, and rear spoiler finished in gloss black. However, it’s not entirely blacked out as the grille, trunk garnish, and window garnish continue to have the chrome finishing. For the 1.5-litre TSI variants, there’s an exclusive badge as well, which will help in differentiating from the 1-litre TSI variant.
No Changes To The Interior
The interior carries no styling change and it already gets a blacked out cabin with leatherette upholstery. However, it does get the 10-inch touchscreen system which was available at the time of launch. This system gets wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto and a 6-speaker sound system with subwoofer.
In terms of features, it retains an electric sunroof, automatic AC, an 8-inch digital driver’s display, wireless charger, up to six airbags, ESC, and a rear camera.
All Powertrain Options
The Kushaq Matte Edition is offered with 115PS 1-litre and 150PS 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engines, with a 6-speed manual transmission. The 1-litre engine gets the choice of a 6-speed automatic, while the bigger engine goes with a 7-speed DSG (dual-clutch automatic) unit.

The Kushaq ranges from Rs 11.59 lakh to Rs 19.69 lakh (ex-showroom), rivalling the likes of the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, MG Astor, Toyota Hyryder, Maruti Grand Vitara, Volkswagen Taigun, and upcomers like the Honda Elevate and Citroen C3 Aircross.
